Britannian Legacy, The Shard

Britannian Legacy was originally started by Jokester, and was dubbed "FreeUO." Shortly after the start of construction, funding ran short, and the idea was scrapped, much to the dissapointment of AskChopper.com fans.
Shortly thereafter, the idea was resurrected from the ashes, and a fast, reliable host was found. Meetings were held, contracts were signed, legal matters were discussed; now, Luth heads up the project of creating a new shard, formally named "Britannian Legacy."
The shard itself is 95% like OSI. The towns are the same, NPC spawn, and monster spawn (above world and in dungeon) are as close to OSI as we can make them. Our goal was to make a Pre-UO:R society, to revert the world to what it was so long ago. Differences may include new NPCs, a few new monsters, the utter decimation of Trammel, and a new, never before seen dungeon city we call "Hell."

Britannian Legacy, The Staff

The staff of BL is what seperates us from OSI the most. Whereas OSI Gamemasters are employees, bound by contract and money to serve, our staff members are all volunteers. They're here because they want to help, not because they have to.

Most of you know me from AskChopper.com, at which I've been working nearly since Chopper opened the site. I've since become the webmaster and administrator of the site, and using that position, am now the one bringing you Britannian Legacy. Jokester started me on the idea of an AskChopper shard, and we built the very first model years ago on a source-tweaked Sphere 55i. We've since upgraded.
As for my play style, I'm a Minoc native, have been since I started, years and years ago. You could often times find me tricking newbies with Boom Boxes, looting houses, or otherwise just hanging out around Minoc and the Northern Spawn area.
As an admin, I like to think that I'm fair. I describe myself as Honest, not Nice. I don't plan on banning anyone for anything, but a week in jail isn't beyond me. Of course, you'll really have to earn that... I'd rather you just fight your own battles.
I'll also be helping to lead most of the Events and Quests on the shard, along with the rest of the staff. If you have a quest or event you want to see take place, go ahead and email me.
