"From House To Home"

The task was given to turn the houses of Britannia into homes in every sense of the word. Players were asked to decorate their houses to the full extent of their creativity, and we were not dissapointed! Throughout the three day period, many players had an opportunity to meet some special characters, including Lord British and Blackthorn, from which many special house-decorating gifts were given.

PROS: Not overly cluttered. Nice fishtank, only one I saw. Unique flowerpot. Loved the fireplace, I'd never seen that before. Nice banquet.
CONS: Blue/Yellow tiling is very distracting. I think that red and green tile makes some kind of design, but I couldnt make out what. Whats with the blue room?

PROS: Lord Blackthorn's Autograph... nice snag. Like the fruit baskets, adds colour. I like the bath/jacuuzi thing.
CONS: Patio was left pretty sparse. Not a big use of colour... everything's just brown.

PROS: Coloured leather, shame on me. Full bookcase, I *hope* you got that from a Lord? ;) Nice unique Orcish Axe.
CONS: Lots of wasted, empty space in the front room. Whats the grey/blue thing in the 2nd room?

PROS: The colour of the tile was a good choice. Bright, but not distracting. Noticed the Troll head on the wall, and the flowerpot, and the candelabra. Nice merchant counter. I like the music room upstairs
CONS: Upstairs just looks messy. Not sure what the big grey patch is downstairs. And that back room... fishing theme, but... its confusing as to what you were trying to do.

PROS: Cozy place featuring both a fruit basket and the Lord's Lunch statue gift.
CONS: Tone down the carpet colour.

PROS: The guards! I've never seen that before, and I really liked them. Flowerpot, Lord's Lunch gift... nice treasure room. Well lit tower. I liked the war room idea. The dedication on the roof... some would say its overplayed, but I think it was well done.
CONS: Why orange for the tile? It adds colour... but its ORANGE colour! Tiling didnt seem consistant in the hallways. War room could have used NPCs sitting around the table.
FINAL SCORE: 9/10
»Superman
PROS: Now this is what a museum should be. Simple concept with the book naming, but done well. Like the shiny green tile in the Kryptonite room. No ugly tile scheme! Had every piece of memorabelia I would suspect from Superman. Roof's "S" was a nice touch.
CONS: 3rd floor was empty. Nothing really unique or astounding, other than good book naming and prop placement.
FINAL SCORE: 8/10

What kind of person would I be if I didnt participate in my own event? Obviously, I abused my diety-like staff powers to decorate, but hey... whacha gonna do? ;)
